The Wheatsheaf is situated in large gardens overlooking the village of Combe Hay in idyllic countryside just 15 minutes drive from the centre of Bath,
The menu is clean cut and unfussy. The emphasis is on simplicity and quality.
Ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible by head chef Nick Brodie and his team. The devine breads, pastries and deserts are the realm of chef de patisserie Jess Brodie.


The superb wine list is euro-centric and offers outstanding value.
Run by the owners Ian and Adele Barton, managed by son James assisted by their other son Thom, daughter Daisy and Milo the dog, it has the welcoming atmosphere of a family home, with accommodation too!
